Witness the greatest wildlife show on earth. This five-day safari follows the Great Migration — over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras — as they move across the Serengeti's endless plains.
Depending on the season, you'll position yourself for dramatic river crossings, where crocodiles wait in the water and predators shadow the herds. Nights are spent in a luxury tented camp close to the action, and an optional hot air balloon safari lets you float over the herds at sunrise.
An expert naturalist guide reads the movements of the migration daily, so your game drives are always where the action is.
Day-by-day itinerary
Arusha to the Serengeti
Drive from Arusha through the Ngorongoro highlands into the Serengeti, with game viewing on the way to your tented camp.
Tracking the Herds
Full day following the migration with your naturalist guide, positioning for the best encounters with the herds and the predators that follow them.
River Crossing Country
Game drives along the river where, in season, wildebeest mass on the banks before plunging across — one of nature's great spectacles.
Balloon Safari & Game Drives
Optional sunrise hot air balloon flight over the plains followed by a champagne bush breakfast, then afternoon game drives.
Return to Arusha
Final morning game drive and return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
